A Fairly Complete List of Blue-Backed, CD based, PS2 Games (Not necessarily for sale by me, just a list) Collected from many different sources, this is the most complete list you will find anywhere. If you know of others, please let me know. As PS2s age, many no longer play Blue-Backed, CD based, PS2 Games. If your PS2 plays silver-backed, DVD-based games without issue, but when you put a blue-backed, CD-based game disc in your PS2, it does not work, it is your console that is the problem, not the game. Usually, when this happens, as the console tries to read the disc, the console makes clicking noises as the laser hits the disc. You may also see skid marks on the disc about midway between the center and outer edge. When you buy a PS2 bundle with games from someone, and the seller says it worked perfectly, but now you find it doesn't play blue discs, look at the games that came with the console. If the seller doesn't have any Blue games, he probably didn't know they wouldn't work. If the bundle came with a blue disc that has those skid marks on the disc, he knew. |
